Philosophy/Mission

Our philosophy and mission for the past 30 years in practice has always been prevention, believing that it is much easier to prevent serious dental problems before they occur.

To treat each patient as a member of our family, with comfort, friendliness and dental expertise they would expect and deserve, keeping in mind that each patient presents with unique needs which fall under a vast spectrum of treatment options.

Confirmations and Cancellations

Our patients are seen by appointment, so please call in advance so our staff may reserve a time for you.

We respect our patients’ time and make every effort to remain on schedule. Some visits are more complicated than initially anticipated and emergencies also arise that could delay us. If we are significantly delayed, every effort will be made to notify you beforehand so you may choose to come later or reschedule.

In an attempt to practice as efficiently as possible and to keep our fees reasonable, we require confirmation of your appointments.

If you are unable to keep your appointment, we would appreciate at least 48 hours notice so that your reserved time may be made available for other patients. If you are going to be late, please notify us.

We offer courtesy calls as a reminder. Without a return call from you, we may fill your designated time. We reserve the right to charge a fee for same-day cancellations and/or no-show appointments.

Recall Appointments

We hope you share in our belief that regular preventive dental health care is a sound investment. While the responsibility for returning for this treatment rests primarily with you, we will provide the service of reminding you by phone or postcard.

It is important to keep us informed of changes in your health. Your full disclosure of anything that is abnormal allows us to treat you with the highest degree of safety.

At the time of your recall visit, please advise the receptionist of any change in the following areas:

  1. Address
  2. Telephone number
  3. Health history
  4. Medication being taken
  5. Employment
  6. Insurance coverage

Total dental health is dependent on sound teeth and healthy supporting bone. Additionally, occlusion (the way the teeth fit together) has a great deal to do with the life expectancy of the teeth. Our goal is to eliminate, as much as possible, problems in all these areas. But we may need your help. If you will work with us, you will have a healthier mouth now and in the future.
